Title: 36V Frog Style Lithum Battery Pack dimensions please
Post by: Stooie on November 18, 2010, 02:29:03 AM
G'day,

I'm about to take the e-bike conversion plunge. I commute on a road tyred 26" MTB and am about to assist my ride and range by plonking a 36V mini motor powered wheel on the front. What I haven't decided on is battery. I have a friend who's got a GM Lithium Ion powered bike and he's very happy but has suggested I also investigate the 36V10AH Frog Style Lithium Battery pack.

Can someone please provide total length, height, width & weight of the 36V Frog pack as fitted to a bike? I'm guessing it'll be a little larger than the 24V jobbie.

Cheers and thanks in anticipation,
Stuie

Looks the same as this maybe

If its the same then.

280*50*150mm

A smaller pack with the shape same shell has dimensions of 250*80*150

The below link has a chart with few voltage packs all at 80*280*150

If Peter comes on later he can tell you for sure.

I could be wrong but I think the frogs for both are the same but at Alibaba I have seen a wide range of different sizes.

It was while I was bouncing around the internet looking for the dimensions that got me thinking, I just don't know, and that just asking is a good idea.  Thanks for your help.

Has anyone had any experience with the 36V 10ah Froggy battery yet?
