For everyone who like to design their ebike stuff and simulate in 3D:
 I have put a complete 3D CAD model in Solid Edge format in the files area of the Nohassel google group. It is modeled with correct material density and as accurate as possible using manual measurements. All details including ball bearings, copper windings etc.

Now you can easily do simulations like:

• what about oil filling - would it help on cooling?
• is it strong enough for 10000 N spokes?
