Hi,
Does anyone know the approximate temperature rating of a GM hub motor winding insulation? Best guesses are welcome.
I managed to get a temperature probe inside the hub and onto the winding, and I've had 80C continously without melting anything (the controller, phase leads and hub cover are merely luke warm at this temperature). I haven't been much above 100C though - not even short time -thought I'd ask some advice first. (I have the 48V/1000W).
Thanks!
