Title: Proper Phase Order?

So I have the 48V BLDC motor and the 48V regen (non "magic") controller and I can't dial it in.

I had an LED flasher Hall Effect Sensor tester built and spun the wheel in the proper direction and got the following patterns:
Blue
Blue & Green
Green
Green & Yellow
Yellow
Yellow & Blue

and then starting over again with blue.

Is this the proper order?

How do I determine the order of my power wires?

The only thing I can think of is to open it up and look but I prefer software to hardware solutions where possible.

I would try again to recalibrate the controller, but with the hall sensor and motor phase wires correctly colour matched.
