Title: 67V on 48V-Goldenmotor
Post by: Optima25 on October 08, 2009, 04:50:03 AM
hello friends

I have a simple question: can the 48V Controller also handle 67V? I tried this setup yesterday for only 5 minutes. The speed is amazing guys!!!! I would love to drive always with this speed.

And also: why does the controller makes a stop and go function after 30min. of driving? Is it because of the heat? Or because of Volt?

Please help ;-)

thanx

Heat and current overflow protection.

It shouldn't be able to run at 67Volts, I guess your battery is not truly 67 Volts.
Max volts it will tolerate is 60

Oh i'm sorry, the 60V cut out is for the Magic Pie controllers.
Your magic controller is not recommended for 60 volts and above but it will work. Play with caution then.

Anyway can you post more details?
Max speed or something.

I tried 16 x 4.2V Lipo 8ah = 67.2V

The speed was around 60km/h without my help!

I have Goldenmotor 48V 1000W with Goldenmotor Controller

How long do you think will it live with so much Volts???

If you keep using it at this voltage, I expect you will find out. ;)
