Incorrect direction when using EBS on VEC500
« on: June 17, 2019, 04:55:28 AM »
Hi Everyone,

Has anyone ever experienced the MC not accepting the direction pin when using EBS (auto or pin switched)? I am using these in a skid steer vehicle and have come across the occasion where when using EBS the direction pin doesn't take?

Thanks, Grant.

I'd like to add some context to this as I have found the error.

I am using 2 VEC500 and 2 10KW BLDC motors in a skid steer vehicle (robot). I am controlling them from software. When the auto EBS is active, occasionally it does not receive the directional pin even though the directional voltage was correct (going forward when reverse is set). I instead disabled auto EBS and use the brake pins to activate EBS. This has solved the issue and gives more control over the robot.
