Controller needed for Yuba electric cargo bike
« on: June 08, 2019, 07:44:54 PM »
Big Guy... Guess you know, I've inherited a prototype electric cargo bike originally built for the US State of Virginia police... near 10 years ago. Plan is to resurrect and reassemble... for use by renters...Cdn. who built this machine by the time he'd shipped it to Virginia had invested about $14,000 Even the frame was modified by the bike manufacturer.  (Yuba)... White paint... etc... The Hub Motor is a Crystalyte HS3540... and the police were supplied w/60V X 60Ah LiFePo4 ... so a "huge" pack in ebike terms... and you know I've already scaled the pack down to 48V 10Ah... Latest news... turns out the guy I bought the bike from sold the wrong controller. [grumble grumble] Anyway.... for renting to Joe Public this bike needs to be scaled back A LOT. No more cruise control... No more reverse power... and max. motor speed in Toronto parks is 20km/h (same as for antique/vintage/retro pedal-only Poop-Mobile-type bikes.

Watt say Gary? The smallest bike controller you have?
