Hello
Just joined & need your help
I got the VEC300 72v from a friend. I figured out the connections & operated my mid motor but not smootly at High RPM.
I understand that the setting probebly not matching my motor (# of poles, etc.) so I tried to connect using a proper voltage USB to serial adapter & got signs of life by the error message "Software version does not match with the controller" once I hit OK I can see only partial information loaded (most lines are blanks).
I am using the SW PI-800 on my windows 10, Does anyone knows what might be the root cause of the error? Is there older SW versions?
Thanks in advance

Hi Drupa and(https://i.imgur.com/evDSMvT.png)to the forum.
There are several versions of the Pi800 software which you can find at the bottom of my useful Links (https://goldenmotor.com/SMF/index.php?topic=1548.0) list.

Hello Alan
Thanks for your fast reply,
Unfortunately I tried all SW versions from your list, all gave me SW version doesn’t match except version3.1.3(b14-0704), in this version when I choose the port then press connect the SW screen on the right side becomes white as if it is loading & after 2 seconds the SW crashes :(
One more piece of information, the controller came off a Vmoto Electric Scooter
Any other ides of next step?
Thanks
