pedal first controller ?
« on: October 21, 2007, 02:38:02 AM »
I thought that I had a controller problem, because none of my 2 kits worked. But now it seems that it could be a sensor failure on my both motors rather than a controller failure, because on each motor, one of the sensors wires has always 4.8V when moving the wheel.
Despite I found a tutorial on how to change them by myself, after looking at the sensors inside the wheel, I don't think that I can do the job.
Because it seems that I become specialized in burning my sensors, I have been advised to use a sensorless controller (aka pedal first). With that, no more problem with sensors.
What do you think about that solution ? Does Goldenmotor sell such controllers ? Will a Crystalyte one work ?
Thank you.
