Title: Magic Pie connectors - what are they and how to replace?
Post by: Pwd on June 17, 2014, 04:40:42 PM
Hi again,

I have been been wondering what type of connectors are used on the controls etc... for my Magic Pie 2. I have a few spare but ones but I am running out fast. Also, what gauge wire would be a suitable replacement for the signal wires? I made the mistake of using some recycled solid core wires which are far too brittle. I figure around 20 or 22 guage stranded core wire would be best. I would like to use some wire that is a bit more durable than stock but still be able to used with the male end pins. I seem to break a wire every-time I play with the connectors. What do you think?

(I am referring to the plastic coloured connectors and their male end counterparts with pins etc...):
