Problem with the BAC-281P controller
« on: January 16, 2019, 08:02:38 PM »
Hello,

I am new here and have an issue with the BAC-281P controller.
On the added fotos you can see that the part close by the number C11 is burned.
Anyone there who can help me?

Thanks

Hi Bernardo andto the forum.

I have just had a close look at one of my controllers and the capacitor (C11) is marked as follows:
  476A
 218C3
<-- but this may also be 21BC3

I hope this helps.

Alan

P.S. Your controller has the newer MX328V2 pcb, whereas my controller has the older MX318 pcb and is the same as the one mentioned in this post which you can see here:

The capacitor on that controller is also marked 476A like mine (the "476" indicates a capacitance of 47uF and the "A" indicates a voltage of 10V ) but the second part of the number seems to be a unique production batch code, which might explain why it didn't return any results in a Google search using the entire part number. ;)

Hello Alan,

thanks for your reply. Now I will have to search for a capacitor like this 476A here in Brazil. What - unfortunally - not will be that easy.

Best wishes from Salvador, Brazil.
