Aluminum!

The bike I was planing on converting has an aluminum fork I have heard that this isn't  good is this true?

More important, the torque of the axle will rip the aluminum fork right off the bike.
DONT USE ALUMINUM FORKS ON FRONT WHEEL DRIVE.
