Golden Motor Disc Brake Adapter
« on: March 11, 2011, 12:37:08 PM »
Hi everyone,

I just want to let you know, that I'm making a brake disk adapter for the golden motor.
An adapter with BSC 1.37" x 24 tpi for 6 bolt (IS 44mm) brake discs.

I will post some pictures as soon as it's finished.
If anyone is interested please let me know.

Best regards,

Ace132

Hi Ace (reminds me of a Toyota) andto the forum.

GM usually keep these threaded adaptors for use with the HBS type motor similar to this:

They have even supplied brake discs complete with the threaded adapter already riveted in place:

But this is unfortunately no good for a Magic Pies or Minimotors. ::)

The adapter is just what I'm searching for a long time.
Where can I buy it ? I don't see it on the GM website.

The riveted disc is different from the IS 6 bolt disc brakes.

If you email sales@goldenmotor.com they should be able to give you the price and availability of the threaded brake disc adapter.

Failing that, you should be able to purchase something similar from an alternative supplier.
