?eliminate the throttle delay?
« on: October 13, 2012, 07:44:49 AM »
Is there a way to eliminate the throttle ramp up delay on the SmartPie?

I received my SmartPie yesterday and connected it up to the new CA3 with the Thun torque sensor. The problem I have is that there is a delay of about a second between giving full throttle and getting full throttle. I can understand that this slow ramp up can be useful if you're using the included PAS system, especially on the stronger MP3, but when using the torque sensor it's just annoying. If I go down hill without pedaling and get to the bottom where I feel like pedaling again the delay is irritating. At slower speeds there is much less delay. I noticed this delay before connecting the CA3 too so I now it's not the CA3.

I did set the acceleration to 100% in the controller program.
