Changing to sinewave

I have a Magic Pie Ext (1000 watt on 48volts) on a tandem trike. I have been pretty satisfied with this motor and I have about 3000 trouble free miles on it so far. Recently I purchased a Magic Pie Edge for my daughter's recumbent trike. I was blown away by how absolutely silent the motor is. I would like to make my motor as quiet as the Edge if possible. Is there a sinewave controller available to convert my MP Ext? I'd like to find something that would make it a fairly easy fix.

As far a I know, Golden Motor doesn't have an external sine-wave controller for that kind of application. There are countless other sine-wave controllers available from other companies but most likely require you to change the connector and test the wiring for it to work. Here is one for example:
