How to replace Hall Sensors

Hi All,

Could someone provide instructions how to replace Hall Sensors in the Hub Motor?

I actually searched the web for the relevant videos, but did not find any useful.

I saw this video - nothing helpful. Unfortunately I destroyed my hall sensors while trying to dismount them from the motor (they are ceramic and too small...) 

Should the Hall Sensors be glued inside of the motor?

I just mean that he shows the gluing process and that it should be visible at that point. I haven't done this myself so I don't really know how well it is explained.

It's quite simple just just a small screwdriver  or a strong knive to get the old sensors out.
The are glued very well.

Install the new ones with very small amount of expoxy glue.

And as finish touch use some kit to cover the sensors pins for preventing shorting due e.g. water etc.

Just  use Honeywell SS41 is fine.
Running time of these sensor are now greater then 2500 km.
Still working...

The Honeywell SS41 hall sensor is commonly used as a replacement and can be purchased from most electrical component suppliers, but if you can't find them at your local supplier, check out this post on ES regarding purchasing hall sensors.
