Title: BBS02 display issue
Post by: Farmhand48060 on March 29, 2023, 12:58:43 PM
Hello, I am new to this forum, currently have 3 Ebikes, BBS02 Biktrix/BBSHD Motobecane/ Luna X2 m600. My question that needs confirmation before I can proceed with non functioning BBs02 display issue  concerning the 5 pin controller to display cable. Specifically the P+ wire to ground voltage is showing full battery voltage (54VDC). Is this for the battery power level on the display, or should this voltage be +5VDC, indicating a bad voltage regulator on the control board

Hi and(https://i.imgur.com/evDSMvT.png)to the forum.

P+ (Power positive) usually refers to the main battery supply not the +5V supply.

In the above diagram, the P+ wire on the Main Harness is coloured Brown and the +5V wire is coloured Red.
More details can be found here (https://electricbike.com/forum/forum/knowledge-base/motors-and-kits/bbshd/26907-bbshd-and-bbs02-wiring-pinout).

Please note that the +5V supply from the controller (Red wire in the Main Harness) does not go to the display as it is only required for the brake switches and the throttle.
