Dear Alan
I´ve just become member of this forum since I suggest it has a serious approach to the subject ebiking.
I am searching for information about the Smart Pie 5, which I consider buying for DIY -montage.
Unfortunately I don´t seem to find any dealers in Denmark, so I search advice for where to by the device.
Will you please redirect me to the prober discussion or advice me how to post these kind of questions?

Hi Bralrabl andto the forum.

Of the three listed GM dealers in Denmark, two no longer have working websites, and the third appears to specialise in marine conversions, which is probably not a lot of use to you.  ???

As you don't have a GM dealer near to you, it looks like you will have to order online.

All of my kits and GM accessories have been supplied by either GM China or GM Canada and I have had nothing but good experiences with both dealers.  But as these are the only two dealers that I have purchased GM products from, I am unable to comment on the level of service that other dealers may provide.

Hopefully other members living near to you can give their opinions on GM dealers that they have dealt with and suggest where you should (or shouldn't) purchase a Smart Pie 5 from.

Now that your membership has been confirmed, you can post any questions you may have in the respective area of the forum.

Alan

Dont know where in DK you are, but there is an unlisted dealer in Odense, dmvaps.dk, who has some kits available, I got my sp5 from there, which now has 3500 km on it.

I now have bought a MagicPie5 from DeVi-Comfort in Holland (Netherland). The delivery was smooth and fast, an the installation went out succesfully, however I Needed to add two washer between the freehweel gearbox and the motor to able the freewheel running. But now I have another problem. The motor is preset at 48 volts. I change that to 36 volts, and then it works. But when I turn the battery of, the setting goes back to 48 volts, and I cant´t drive before I have set the controlbox once again. It´s really frustrating!

You will need to contact DeVi-Comfort direct and explain the fault to them, as I think the controller may need to be replaced as it does not seem to be correctly saving the set parameters.

Please let us know what the outcome is.
