Title: TWIN PIES
Post by: Rob9771 on September 26, 2010, 02:57:33 PM
HI
Having had one Pie pack up I am considering going for two on the basis that at least I can still get home without having to manually pedal a 60lb bike !
Does anyone know whether the two will run happily together from one battery and whether I would need extra battery power. I am running 1000w 48 v
on the rear but with the battery it has really messed up the handling. At least with a front hub although heavier it should be better balanced.
Appreciate any guidance
Thanks
Rob

Hey do it for sure,

It's great with the extra weight in the front for handling, and will run fine off a GM 48v 12Ah
Make sure you set both wheels to 24v with the USB cable ;)

The range is the same if not better because they don't work nearly as hard uphill. Anyways well worth the extra $$$

cheers
