Title: New products on the GM website
Post by: Bikemad on January 10, 2010, 08:45:42 PM

For those of you who haven't looked around the GM website (http://www.goldenmotor.com) for a while, there have been some noticeable new additions that have recently appeared.
Some of these have already been announced by GM, but not all of them, so I thought I would give them a quick mention here anyway.

This very neat seat post mounted rack for the sliding battery pack:

Any chance you can provide some more details (price and availability etc.) on the above items.

On mine there were two issues.

1) the clamp is for a larger seat post.
Alternate sizes should be available.

2)  The dimple for the lock was too
shallow.  I had to put the each in a vise
and drive it up a little.

While not a review point, I added a trunk
lifter to offset the weight of the battery
which helps a lot for bumps.  I need to
Keep looking for one that is long enough
but does not have too much pressure.
