Hi, It's me Lucas. I have a HPM3000B motor and a VEC240 controller.
In this Post (https://goldenmotor.com/SMF/index.php?topic=6581.0) you explained how the Regenerative braking and the Cruise Speed only work when going foward.
Do you know if there are any more differences between the reverse function and the foward? Maybe power, RPM, Torque and so on ...
Also, I have some doubts about some controller parameters. In this post I will only ask about those parameters related to Foward and reverse since I haven't found anything in the forum about it.
It may be a dumb question (Englsh is a second language for me), but I have no idea what these parameters are:
FWD-Speed-Loop Setting
Foward Speed Ratio (%): 85
BWD-Speed-Loop Setting
Backword Speed Ratio (%): 100
Reverse Torque Ratio (%): 100
These are the default values for my controller
Thank You

Hi Lucas,
I don't know for sure, but I would have expected:
- the Forward Speed Ratio (%) to limit the maximum forward speed
- the Backward Speed Ratio (%) to limit the maximum speed in reverse
- the Reverse Torque Ratio (%) to limit the maximum torque in reverse
Those default settings do seem to be a bit confusing, as I would expect the Forward Speed Ratio (%) to be set at 100%, and the Backward Speed Ratio (%) and Reverse Torque Ratio (%) would typically be set lower than the Forward Speed Ratio (%).

Hi, Alan
Thank you for the quick response.
I will change the settings accordingly.
