And here is one more question ...

As for the Hall Sensors leads, there are five of them - two are the power supply (5V and GND) and three are actually output signals from the sensors. So, How can I determine/find the power supply leads (5V and GND)? How could I distinguish them from the  output signals from the sensors?

The output signal leads are usually colour coded the same as the phase winding leads (Green, Blue and Yellow being the most common colours).
The ground wire is usually Black and the +5V is normally Red.



If your wires are not conventionally colour coded, you may have to dismantle the motor to see exactly how they are connected to the hall sensors, or purchase a dedicated sensorless controller and simply ignore the hall sensors altogether.
