This is a quote from the CA v.2.3   Manual......
"For Direct Plug-in units, this should be set to the number of hall effect transitions per rotation of the wheel. Crystalyte 400 series hubs have 8, the 5300 series hubs have 12, while the ‘H’ series and Crown motors and most generic hubs have 23 poles. Max poles are 99."


Does this effect a sensorless motor?  I have the setting at present as 56 as this is how many 'poles' the pie advertises to have, as in magnets.

Have I got it all wrong, or does this setting only effect motors with hall sensors? I am a bit out of my depth tbh.
