Title: Looking for a chopper bike for my next build MPIII
Post by: GM Canada on October 29, 2011, 12:46:40 AM
Hello all,

I am shopping for a chopper for my next build. I have found this one.

A Nirve Canibal. It looks real good and is the stlye I am looking for but it would have to be a front wheel drive unless I want a single speed rear end.

I also found this one. A Electra Towne 21D. It is close to the style I am looking for and can be a rear conversion keeping the 21 speeds

To me the first one is more chopper style but I am not sure I want a front wheel drive. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Gary

I was bike shopping yesterday and found this. It is a startlingly attractive bike. The picture looks good but the bike even looks better. It has an 8 speed rear end and I am going to attempt to keep it that way. I put a deposit down yesterday as I could not pick it up as I was on my bike at the time.

Some may call it a "girls bike", some call it a "kilt mens bike". I call it a "Easy on and off bike for people with hugh beer belly and difficulty throwing the leg over the seat without kicking the whole thing over Bike".

Now all I need is an MPIII, I think someone said "two weeks" a while back :)

I still have none "on the water" yet and no shipping date :(

But I'm letting you all in on a little secret, I do have two kits being flown to me so I can see the product and do a review before the release so people can have more information before deciding to purchase. At least thats what I told the wife.

"Honey I need to fly in a few MPIII and buy a new bike so I can test the product for my customers. I have to do it, really I have no choice". "And of course I will need to add a new Cycle Analyst for stats, how can I do a good review without stats?"

 ;)

Corrrrrrrr !!!!!!

Gary thats sensational !!!!!

I really like the lake you take your photos at, it really suits the look of the bikes!!!! Makes them look very cruisy

I'm a massive fan of the Brown of this bike, and the white/cream tires really set it apart from other bikes. I like things different, seems you do too Gary!

:D

Noice !!!!!

The build was easy, this unit is only a sample test unit and not all the functions work yet. There are still production delays and the word is now the release will be in 2012! I feel honoured to have two MP3's this is a test of the rear MP3. I have a front as well. The power is definatly back, the motor is more efficient and quieter. Check the video to see the torque and hear the motor.
