I sheared off the bike rack bolts with my battery pack.
Ok, I am not gentle with my e-bike. We have some pretty
nasty curb to street transitions here.
My most recent battery box has the battery isolated
with half an inch of foam as a shock absorber, but it is
still a pretty bad slam when the wheel hits the bump
at the street.
I was thinking that there should be a shock absorber
like suspension for the batteries.
Anyone have any ideas along this line?

I know that this is not what you are looking for but I just put 25psi in my rear tire and 22 in the front.
Other than that the only thing I can think of is setting the battery box on top of a foam pad assuming it now sets on a carrier. If the battery is in a pannier bad then hang the bag with bungie cords.

I think the ideal situation would be to have a dual suspension bike and have the battery centrally located in the triangle of the frame.
