I shod new fat slick tyres on my e-bike (Maxxis Hookworm 26"x 2.5")
Was going fine for a day but now I have terrible noise/vibration from the rear hub
And will not turn from dead stop , I have to pedal first......
Shouldnt be the fat tyres?
Any advice?
See pic's
Cheers

Check your wiring. One or more of the phase power of hall sensor wires may have come loose. I've had a similar thing happen with mine, although its a different brand hub.
Muzza.

Thanks Muzza...
I checked the wiring loom and yes one of the three phase power connections was disconected
Must have happened when the bike shop changed the new tyres
Thank god, I thought my new fats where the problem!
Many thanks again Muzza
Cheers & good luck

It could of been your hall sensors that would be worse than the new fats. lol Good there is no damage.
Let me know how the fats go. I had limited success 26x3 with a holly roller on the front. The bag was too big and could not take the any side forces without making the front wheel warp while doing fast turns. Maybe a stronger front rim and better spokes might be a better for this?
