MPII internal controller wiring

Can someone help?
I am replacing the internal controller and cable to a MPII and find the replacement cable has 9 wires when only 8 were soldered onto the old controller plus the colours are confusingly different.
Is there a wiring diagram somewhere that shows both sets of coloured wires and possibly explain the extra wire?
