Broken battery connector

I have a broken power connector that I need to replace. I have tried contacting the UK supplier but don't seem to be getting a reply at this point so may have to buy one through another avenue (even though I think it should be covered under warranty).

I have the 48V, 10AH rack mounted battery and the connector is made of black plastic with two metal pins inside. It was supplied as a separate cable in the kits which I had to solder to the power cable running from the MP.

Any help would be most welcome, I'm currently without drive on my commuter

I believe that the connectors used on the GM batteries are similar to these 50 Amp Anderson Powerpole connectors on eBay, but I would check the dimensions of yours first and make sure it is the same size.

If it's just the plastic casing that's broken you should be able to transfer your wires and connectors to a new housing without having to replace the actual terminals on the ends of the wires. Make sure you keep the battery turned off while swapping cables etc and do not mix up the polarity of the wires in the connector housing.

Thanks for the welcome and of course pointing me toward the listing on eBay. I think at £3.45 it's not even worth my time checking the data sheet, I'm just going to order one and try it haha.

Use a small flat head screw driver or long nose pliers to push the positive and negative metal spades into the anderson connector until it clicks into place and cannot be pulled back out.
