Alan, could I ask who here does/did have moderation and administration rights on the forum?

There are currently nine forum members who have additional admin/moderating permissions.
(Leslie used to be the tenth)Of these nine members, there are only three or four users who have permissions that would allow them to delete member accounts, and only two of those users had visited the forum around the time the accounts were lost, myself and Yao. I've already spoken to Yao, and he assures me it was not him, and I'm pretty sure that I haven't done it either.
I spent a lot of time last weekend going though lists of every post on the forum to determine exactly which accounts had disappeared.
I found numerous posts simply showing as "Guest" instead of the correct user accounts, which were no longer linked to around 16 different user accounts. Some of these may have been removed by the user themselves
(like Leslie's account), but many of them would not have been. In the last couple of weeks several of these members have re-registered on the forum, but not all.
So if you find your account has disappeared in the last couple of weeks, we'd love to see you back again
(unless you're a spammer!).
